ranger on 225 vs a raptor on 305's plus lift and suspension. Still no better in the snow though

Na the Raptor is just insanely huge. We have commercial trucks for hauling building materials smaller than that thing.

Every vehicle from 15 or so years ago is tiny in comparison.

My truck is 5ft wide and 17ft long, ya sure you have smaller trucks?

I meant smaller than the raptor. The size of your truck is similar to one of the most common around here, the Transit Tipper.

My truck came with 225s as well, but it was optioned with them. I went for some 215 all seasons because they were 50$ a tire and because of that I could afford to replace the spare as well. In my trucks lifetime it had only had 3 sets of tires. 5 from the factory, 4 put on By the original owner and 5 put on by me. The spare that was on there when i got it was manufactured 6/1993 and the other 4 tires were manufactured 12/2003

Well since the Raptor is 7 inches wider than a standard F-150, it's probably more that it's just it's bigger than some houses.

I would almost bet the Raptor is insanely fun in the snow, since it comes standard with mountain snowflake rated tires.

i'd be willing to bet the raptor has an advantage. Those tires are wide, but there is plenty of weight to help them work. A wrangler on wide off road tires would have a distinct disadvantage. My friend has a raptor and it has no problem going stopping and turning, even in deep stuff. His is even the pre front torsen lsd model. plus that ranger is 2wd...sooo... Also, there is a reason small pick up trucks can only plow snow so deep, after a bit, the wheels just start to spin.
